Day 27 - Inspecting The Troops

Calling the Troops to Attention!

Super Bowl Sunday is now a thing of the past and it looks like General Sarge has called his troops together for a snap inspection. For the most part the fellow Build-A-Bears are doing their best to stand at attention. But, it also looks like NASCAR bear my have been injured in the festivities. I think that might be a crutch holding him up. (LOL!)

Personally, I’m not really a big a football fan. Nor is Ben. But I can tell you this picture for today does bring back memories as I remember Ben doing the same thing with General Sarge when he first got him. He would pull out all his other teddy bears and General Sarge would inspect the troops. Sometimes on a daily basis.

  1. I love General Sarge! I look forward to him bringing a smile to my face every time I see him and hear about what he is doing each day. It is also a daily reminder of all the wonderful men and women we have serving in our military. Thank you Ben and thank you to all our military for making it possible for me to sit here in my home, safe and warm, enjoying the company of my children and grandchildren. You will stay in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers for our son Ben. At this point since he is at Basic he has not been able to see what I’m doing for daily pics. However, I have sent him a pictures in what are pretty much my daily letters to him. Whenever we have an opportunity to talk on the phone he’s always interested in what’s going on with General Sarge. Thanks for your faithful reading of the daily posts and I’m glad they bring a smile to your face too.
