A Week At The Radio Station – Thursday
February 24, 2011
Helping the engineer!
We got a new transmitter at 1420 WACK in Newark, New York this week. As you can well imagine that means a lot of excitement as the engineer was at the station first preparing to put the new transmitter in and of course taking the old transmitter out. General Sarge thought it might be a good idea to help the engineer here. He’s getting an up close and personal look at the inside of the transmitter.
I was a little concerned at first – especially since there’s the stick-figure picture of the guy getting zapped there!
But, General Sarge is a pretty smart bear and he told me I had nothing to worry about. The engineer then told me it wasn’t plugged in yet. That made me feel a whole lot better. However, we did not tell General Sarge that.

Well, of course Sarge the Bear is really smart. I wouldn’t have it any other way. LOL!! Love these posts and the photos. Good job.
I think he liked getting the kiss too. LOL!
