May 1st will be here before we know it and today General Sarge made sure we got work done on our exercise room! At one time it was Ryan’s bedroom. But, since Ben is almost completed his Basic Training and AIT and will head off for active duty, and since Ryan will be working on Reserve preparation. We decided to change one of the bedrooms into our exercise room.
As you can see, General Sarge helped us get the TV and DVD all set up today. Not only did we get the room set up, but General Sarge made sure we set the DVD up and tested that too. We started the first DVD and did some of the warm-ups. Sandra did some of the warm ups and got tired just doing those.
So I’m guessing we’ll have a lot of work to do to get into shape.
DS Buff Visits Washington
Drill Sgt Buff is on the move and enjoying her R & R as she gets set to work with everyone who decides to take part in the P90X/Bear Dare.
Today DS Buff visited some very important monuments in Washington, DC. Here she is by the WWII monument. I remember years ago while Pastoring a church in Ontario, Canada my Pastoral Assistant was a WWII veteran. I’ll never forget one year when we were coming up to Remembrance Day he asked if we were planning to do anything. He finished the question by saying – “Lest we forget”. I must admit I had forgotten.
Now with General Sarge he’s constantly reminding me of the importance of remembering the brave men and women who have protected and continue to protect our freedom. I have to admit seeing DS Buff standing by the WWII monument did bring a tear to my eye. It also brought back many memories for General Sarge.
Where Is A General Sarge?
It’s time once again to find out where General Sarge has been today.
Not many people know this but one of the reasons for the Task Force revolves around the fact that General Sarge at times get’s called in to give advice to some rather high ranking people involved in secret service assignments around the world. Do you recognize who General Sarge is talking to here? He’s a very high ranking spy from England. It’s a good thing the Task Force is ready to serve whenever called upon.
