Day 152: New Brochures

New Brochures – July 29, 2011

This has been a very busy week at General Sarge HQ. On Tuesday General Sarge and I were invited to attend a very special dedication service tomorrow morning – Saturday, July 30.

Since there will be a number of people at the dedication who will want to know more about what we’re doing it was time to finish our brochure designs. We’ve been working on ideas for a while, but suddenly it was time to pull everything together.

We must give two great big “paws up” to our incredible designer, Lee Gang. He’s been helping me with design material for a long time and simply comes up with incredible ideas. It’s like he can read my mind. I’ll call him with a concept, sometimes very vague concepts, and he comes up with a magnificent end product every time. As you can see from the picture, we’ve done a lot of cutting, folding and inserting.

General Sarge did try to help out. But, his paws didn’t work very well when it came to folding.

Dedication Ceremony

As for the dedication ceremony – We are honored and privileged for the invitation to the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery Dedication that’s taking place tomorrow. New York State Senator Michael Nozzolio was gracious enough to invite us to attend and we are looking forward to honoring our past veterans at the ceremony tomorrow.

Watch for more information about the Sampson Memorial Cemetery and the dedication ceremony with pictures coming this weekend.

  1. Being asked to attend the dedication is a wonderful honor for General Sarge and his human dad Dr. Rus. Getting all the paperwork together, in preparation for the event, must be a labor intensive yet fun task, I am sure the pamphlets look fantastic too. I agree that you have a great design guy, Lee Gang has done some amazing work for you and for General Sarge.

    1. Hi DS Buff!

      We are both looking forward to attending the ceremony together. General Sarge is excited as he already has his dress uniform on too!

  2. I wish I could attend, but I know this will lead to great things for the future of Families First. Oh, and there better be a few of those brochures for me!

    1. Hey Tracy;

      Yes this is going to be a great day! General Sarge is already in his dress uniform and ready to go. As for brochures, yes, there are some for you. 🙂
