Day 170: On The Radio

On The Radio – August 17, 2011

We’re giving “Two paws up” to Sam Glazer and Talk Loud PR out of New York City today. Sam has been interested in and a supporter of what we’re doing here for quite some time. He’s also a great PR guy booking interviews for a wide variety of people.

He recently started helping us out here lining up radio interviews so we can get the word out about General Sarge. Today was our first interview lined up by Sam as I was a guest on Dana Childs’ show. It was wonderful to chat with Dana and all his listeners on KWKY-FM in Albuquerque, NM. Of course General Sarge really wanted to take part in the chat too. But with a sewed up mouth, it’s kind of hard for him to do that. I did however make sure he could listen in. Whatever you do don’t tell General Sarge his microphone was not plugged in.

Next week we have another interview set for Tuesday on WOCA-AM in Gainesville, Florida. I know it will be a great time and if you’re in the Gainesville area be sure to tune in at 10:00am.

  1. Woohoo! Two paws up! Don’t worry, I won’t say anything to General Sarge…I don’t want to do push-ups. LOL!

    So excited for what’s happening at General Sarge HQ! Hey, when I get my degree, my first PR job should be for General Sarge and the Families First/Gift-A-Bear Campaigns. *hint hint* 😉

    1. Hey Tracy;

      That’s right you better be careful what you say to General Sarge. I think he had your file out the other day wondering when the last time was he gave you push ups to do. 😉 As for PR, it’s growing and growing and the more hands the better!

  2. At this rate General Sarge is going to be even more famous, perhaps he could be more famous than another famous bear, no not me 😆 I’m talking about Pooh Bear 😉 😉

    1. Hi Slappy;

      Wow! That would be pretty famous. I wonder if they’d make movie about me if I get that famous. I’ll make sure all my beary-furry-friends have roles in the movie too.

      Two paws up!

  3. This is fantastic news and how exciting for your military campaign. General Sarge always looks like a natural behind that mic, too bad he lost his voice..
