Gift-A-Bears To San Diego – December 01, 2011
I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! I do need to be careful and try to contain my excitement because I’m almost bursting at the seams and I don’t want to lose any stuffing.
This weekend we are heading to San Diego for the big Celebrate The Military Child Holiday Bonanza Event! It’s going to be so much fun and we’re all excited about meeting so many wonderful military children on Saturday.
I’ll be riding on a plane with my human-owners parents but we decided to send the six Gift-A-Bears to San Diego ahead of time so they can make sure everything is ready for us when we arrive. Look at these guys!
They’re so excited they can hardly stay in the box!
A Holiday Bonanza & Military Ball
Operation Holiday Bonanza is set for Saturday and we’re hearing there will be lots of military children at the event. I’m looking forward to seeing them all, talking with them and encouraging them too. I’ve trained the Gift-A-Bears so they’re ready to provide wonderful furry hugs to their new owners too. Of course I’ll be taking lots of pictures as well.
I’m also packing my dress uniform because we’ve been invited to a big ball on Sunday! What an honor to be invited to the 79th Brigade Special Troops Battalion Ball being held at the San Diego Air & Space Museum.
I’m sure there will be a lot of great people at the Ball and I’m looking forward to meeting them all too. I’m really looking forward to meeting Michelle Penn too. Michelle has a great connection with the military and her song Welcome Me Home is a wonderful tribute to military families.
Aside from our brave men and women serving in the military and Michelle being at the Ball – E! News personality Ashlan Gorse will be in attendance too! Now you can see why I’m so excited about this weekend.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet all kinds of great people.
I do want to thank some great people who are helping us get to the weekend event too. Of course we need to thank Faith and the wonderful people at Celebrate The Military Child for inviting us to San Diego. I also want to thank Air Compassion for Veterans for arranging our travel to San Diego.
Two paws up!
