This has been a week of ups and downs and once again a week of much rhetoric. In the midst of yet another terrorist attack on U.S. soil many lines have been drawn once again. In the midst of unrest I’ve found myself troubled and stirred to deeper prayer once again.
I’ve found myself asking what is on the Father’s heart when it comes to prayer?
This morning I heard the phrase “Wake up, wake up” echoing through my mind. I then found myself praying through the following verses in Psalm 24;
“GOD is at their side; with GOD ’s help they make it. This, Jacob, is what happens to God-seekers, God-questers.
Wake up, you sleepyhead city! Wake up, you sleepyhead people! King-Glory is ready to enter. Who is this King-Glory? GOD, armed and battle-ready. Wake up, you sleepyhead city! Wake up, you sleepyhead people! King-Glory is ready to enter. Who is this King-Glory? GOD -of-the-Angel-Armies: he is King-Glory.” Psalm 24:5-10 MSG
I then journaled the following prophetic word;
“Wake up, wake up, wake up for there are seeds of destruction closer than you think. Sift through the noise and find the heart of the Father and there you will discover what is important to Him and in turn important to those who call on His Name. There are sleeper cells closer than you want to believe or see for the noise of the rhetoric causes you to have a deaf ear. So wake up, wake up, wake up and hear the call of King Glory and discover the heart of the Father”.
The good news is, in the midst of the warning found in this prophetic word is the encouragement from the Lord in Psalm 24 above that declares; “The King of Glory is armed and battle-ready”.
